Your steps.
The next chapter.
A fitness-powered narrative RPG that turns real-world movement into energy for the story ahead.

A walk becomes
a way forward.
Step By Step connects daily activity to a story you can return to, with progress shaped by movement and choice.
- 01
Move in the real world.
HealthKit brings step activity into the experience.
- 02
Turn steps into energy.
Converted steps provide energy for moving through the story.
- 03
Choose what happens next.
Decisions spend energy, change the path, and create reasons to try again.
01 / From activity to possibility
Steps become story energy.
The activity view gives real movement context through today’s steps, distance, streaks, averages, and a seven-day chart. Back on the dashboard, available steps can be converted into energy for the next decision.

02 / Progress that stays with you
More than
today’s total.
Adjustable goals, long-term step milestones, and story achievements give both movement and narrative progress a place to live.
03 / Energy enters the narrative
Every choice has weight.
Survive tracks health, energy, day progress, and attempts. Choices make their cost visible before the story branches.
04 / A reason to move again
A failed path is still progress.
A story can end before the player reaches safety. The next attempt carries forward what the player learned and reconnects the game to the real world: take more steps, regain energy, and choose another route.

The first story
It began with Survive.
The original standalone SwiftUI story became Step By Step’s flagship narrative. Its branching structure grew into a broader experience with energy, checkpoints, achievements, and replayable paths.
